Regional Organization for Accreditation within the Eurasian region

The heads of government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which took place on August 19-20 in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyz Republic) in person, accepted the instructions regarding accreditation.

The Council of the Head of Accreditation Bodies of the EAEU Member States needs to work out the issue of creating a regional organization for accreditation with the participation of representatives of the EAEU Member States and CIS Member States.

The Eurasian Economic Commission, together with the governments of the EAEU member states, needs to prepare proposals on the format and conditions of interaction between the Commission and the regional organization for accreditation in order to create conditions for the development of mutual and foreign trade and protection of the market from products that do not meet the requirements of the EAEU technical regulations.
