Innovative development

The goals and content of the national policy in the field of scientific research, technology and innovation, as well as its priorities, are determined by the state development course approved by the President and the Government of Belarus. It is based on the transition to an innovative economy, a knowledge economy. The strategic goals of innovative development and the ways to achieve them are enshrined in the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021-2025.

The strategy for innovative development of the republic consists in the synthesis of the introduction of technologies related to the V and VI technological paradigms (information and communication and aerospace technologies, nuclear energy and renewable energy sources, bioindustry and nanoindustry, pharmaceutical industry, instrument making and electronic industry), and the development of traditional sectors of the economy.
