General Information
Article 36 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated October 11, 2024 No. 33-Z "On Accreditation in the National Accreditation System of the Republic of Belarus":
The Unified Information System in the field of accreditation (abbreviated as UIS) is designed for the automation and digitalization of accreditation, ensuring the provision of information, including from the NSA register and the Unified Register of the EAEU.
The UIS is a collection of official and reference information in the field of accreditation, including that contained in the NSA register, information technologies, and a set of software and hardware that ensure its processing and interaction between participants of the National Accreditation System.
Financing of expenses related to the operation, technical support, and maintenance of the UIS is carried out at the expense of the accreditation body, including funds received by it under accreditation agreements, as well as other sources not prohibited by law.
The Unified Information System in the field of accreditation (abbreviated as UIS) was introduced into operation in 2025 based on the modernization of the Unified Information System in the field of conformity assessment (IS "Accreditation")
The main functions performed by the UIS include:
maintaining registers;
planning and implementing measures for monitoring and periodic competence assessment;
maintaining the register of accreditation experts and technical assessors;
planning and implementing training activities conducted by BSCA;
electronic participation of experts in the accreditation process;
formation of a directory of registered measurement methods used by Conformity Assessment Bodies;
submission and registration of applications for accreditation work;
entering information of the technical competence passport of Conformity Assessment Bodies;
organizing intersystem interaction for joint work execution, based on access roles during accreditation work by all participants of the accreditation process, a mechanism for communication between process participants through notifications and dialogues.
The UIS consists of software modules (automated systems, offices) deeply integrated with each other. The offices that make up the UIS:
