Important warning for accredited laboratories
This is to inform that National accreditation system of the Republic of Belarus is
in the process of initial evaluation by European co-operation for accreditation for the purpose of joining
EA Bilateral Agreement.
Thus, BSCA warns
that all accredited laboratories shall strictly comply with the requirements of
STB ISO/IEC 17025 including mandatory EA and ILAC documents listed in BSCA
policy PL SM 4.6.1 “Policy on BSCA scope of activities and accreditation criteria”.
Previously made decision to
allocate national level laboratories from accredited STB ISO/IEC 17025
laboratories was revoked – all laboratories accredited for compliance with the
requirements of STB ISO/IEC 17025 are
listed in the unified
register of the National Accreditation System of the
Republic of Belarus.
For the purposes of
maintaining accreditation for compliance with STB ISO/IEC 17025 strict
adherence to established requirements and criteria is required. Failure to
comply with any of ISO/IEC 17025 or EA, ILAC requirements would result in
SUSPENSION and then WITHDRAWAL of accreditation certificate.
In case your organization
is unable to comply with the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, you may approach the
regulatory authority/ministry your organization belongs to in order to resolve
the issue of applying any other mechanism to confirm the competence of your
organization with your regulatory authority/ministry.
