Important warning for accredited laboratories

This is to inform that National accreditation system of the Republic of Belarus is in the process of initial evaluation by European co-operation for accreditation for the purpose of joining EA Bilateral Agreement.

Thus, BSCA warns that all accredited laboratories shall strictly comply with the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 17025 including mandatory EA and ILAC documents listed in BSCA policy PL SM 4.6.1 “Policy on BSCA scope of activities and accreditation criteria”.

Previously made decision to allocate national level laboratories from accredited STB ISO/IEC 17025 laboratories was revoked – all laboratories accredited for compliance with the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 17025 are listed in the unified register of the National Accreditation System of the Republic of Belarus.

For the purposes of maintaining accreditation for compliance with STB ISO/IEC 17025 strict adherence to established requirements and criteria is required. Failure to comply with any of ISO/IEC 17025 or EA, ILAC requirements would result in SUSPENSION and then WITHDRAWAL of accreditation certificate.

In case your organization is unable to comply with the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, you may approach the regulatory authority/ministry your organization belongs to in order to resolve the issue of applying any other mechanism to confirm the competence of your organization with your regulatory authority/ministry.
