Background

In 2013 accreditation in Belarus celebrated its 20th anniversary. The first accreditation activities were carried out as far back as Belarus being part of the USSR. At that time accreditation was performed by the State Committee for Standardization of the USSR in the Republic of Belarus. The first laboratory, accredited in 1990, was the testing laboratory of the Ministry for Emergency Situations in Minsk.
